Yup…modern slavery…poverty…AIDS…suicide…pornography…abuse…Darfur…Iraq…Camarillo…is anybody out there?…
what do we do now?…I feel that there is so much to do, but I don’t know where to begin…there are so many issues and people groups pulling at my heart, I know God has created me to care and to act, but how and where to start…help!!!
interesting because i know at Pepperdine there are many MANY opportunities to volunteer and make a difference withs ome of these issues and all i would have to do is walk down to the volunteer center and say “hey, i have some free time during the day” and that would be it. but no i spent my free time on the computer accumulating digital treasures…
In my opinion you wondering where to start is in and of itself a start. But where to go from there? Your one man in a broken world, only God could addess all the issues and groups
So, I know you are already doin’ what I’ll say I would do, but I would say prayer (in my life at least) has the potential to change all things.
